This training (Human Factors Advanced Aviation) has made me more aware of how we perform in the course of LE duties as well as any flight operations and will make me more aware of how prepared I am mentally and physically prior to flight. Five Stars.

The course (Human Factors Advanced Aviation) was great! Much of this information is relevant to our operations and I'll try to pass on as much of it as I can. The section on fatigue was very useful given our rotating 12-hour shifts. The videos were a great resource, and it all flowed together very well. Five stars.
Human Factors Advanced Aviation is Fantastic! I will teach some of the subjects covered to our pilots. I will also discuss the topics with my safety officer and commander to improve some of our procedures and practices. Five of Five.
This course (Human Factors Advanced Aviation) is ideal for any flight instructor or flight instructor candidate. It is also critical that any upper management take this course to connect better with their maintenance and flight crews.
Force Encounters Analysis is a must class for anyone who investigates or reviews OIS and use of force incidents. This training is invaluable for criminal and administrative investigations and will be beneficial during any civil litigation. It clarifies - scientifically - topics on perception and reaction times; something I could always talk about, but can now PROVE.
Force Encounters Analysis is a very useful class, especially because of today's climate in law enforcement. Should be a mandatory class for certain ranks and investigative units in law enforcement. Rating: Five of Five
Outstanding class for all levels of experience. (Force Encounters)
The instructor (Mike Tosti) took dry, scientific material and made it interesting. Rating: Five of Five
“The class (Force Encounters) was great. It gave great insight on how the human body works during stressful situations and how to alter training to attempt to neutralize the physiological effects. Like a lot of training, it is power point heavy. But the instructor did a good job of breaking it up with videos and group activities. The more Probation transforms to a Law Enforcement culture, the more training like this is needed. One of the highlights for me is that they had two attorneys who specialize in defending police officers after force encounters. (They were attending students). It was beneficial to hear their advice about what is needed to protect law enforcement during criminal/civil charges after an incident.”
“The training was very informative. It gave me a better understanding of how and why we as human beings react during high-stress situations. The main focus was on officer-involved shootings(OIS). It has also prepared me in case I have the unfortunate involvement in an OIS. During the training, I realized how unprepared our department is if we were to have an OIS. I believe we need to educate our officers more on what they will be subjected to if they are in an OIS.”
