Force Encounters Analysis is excellent training, regardless of your position in law enforcement.  I gave it five stars across the board.

Force Encounters Analysis is a must for all police administrators who review OIS.  I will send IA investigators from my department to this and will recommend the class to colleagues in our DA's office.

As a non-peace officer, this training immersed me into the mindset of an officer in and following a critical incident.  This traiing better helps me understand how to help an officer after a critical incident - what their needs are.

I feel this training (Force Encounters Analysis) is essential for any LEO who may be exposed to a force encounters - especially for supervisors, administrative, and legal staff.

Force Encounters incidents are complex and multi-faceted.  This course breaks down the physiological reflexes of the officers that are not controlled reactions.  It helps to understand irrational behaviors.

Force Encounters Analysis is essential training for Managers, Supervisors, and Trainers.  I will use this knowledge to audit law enforcement programs, training, awareness, and scheduling.

As a supervisor, this class will greatly help me assist and mentor officers in articulating and documenting their perceptions and actions in force reports.  This is a very worthwhile class.

Understanding the concepts discussed in this class is critical for supervisors to fully evaluate use of force issues.

Subject: A must-have training   I just attended what I would consider to be among the best training I’ve had in my 26yrs of law enforcement and 10yrs as a manager. It is even more important IMHO for those of you who are managing districts as DS I and II. I have suggested that this be required training for DS’s moving forward.   It's not your typical cop training, but rather provides science and research that helps explain the known physical, physiological, and emotional effects before, during, and after any serious incident or traumatic event. Again, IMHO, you cannot make an accurate judgment, complete an investigation, or make a determination in such instances without it.
